Job Description

As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy to maximise revenue and market share within your region to achieve sales targets.

Your primary focus will be on generating new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and using a consultative sales approach with your customers. This role requires strong drive, excellent communication skills and a proven track record in B2B sales. You will have the support of dedicated Sales Executive to support you in this role.


Accountabilities:

Regional Sales Manager is responsible for:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve sales targets and expand market presence within the region
  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities through proactive lead generation, networking, and industry research.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and market analysis to senior management.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.


Competencies and Skills:

  • Proven track record in B2B sales ideally within the engineering industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the region and the ability to leverage new existing relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate new leads, negotiate and close deals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Consultative in your sales approach, adding value throughout the sales process.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel within the region as required.
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently.
  • Proactively source, manage and develop positive relationships externally and internally.
